5 Lord, teach us, in the words of Gandhi, to live simply that others may simply live. Help us to know when we should give up what we want for the sake of others who need it more than we do. We thank you that we have enough to eat, but we think of all those who suffer hunger and starvation because of famine, poverty, or war. We pray that the needs of others may be met, as ours are.
